The Real Reason Obama Might Succeed

Like or dislike the man, one has to admit that thus far, he seems to have the ability to stir people up emotionally. Here is what I mean as the main subject.
1. I believe what makes our country the most powerful in the world is the drive, hard work, and independant goals and success that that each and everyone of us strive for.
2. We realize that government doesn't, or at least shouldn't run our lives, but rather is put in place by WE the people to protect our borders as well as interests abroad, and defend the constitution. Ever heard of Liberty?
3. By default, people who are inspired by Pres Obama are going to go out, achieve success by hard work, and collectively turn the economy around. The media is going to give props to the Pres for "saving" us, while the truth behind it all is that we as individual Americans are the ones who took control of our own destiny and collectively turned things around.
So in closing I want to address all the people that want "change" in this country. We can all hope and pray that some figurehead will give us change, or we can create the change we want in our own lives. Picture this; if 100 plus milion people make the changes in their lives such as being fiscally responsible, helping neighbors in need, and getting involved in local government, then all of the sudden, the change has occured. I watch other nations around the world that look to their leaders for everything. I don't want to live in Nigeria or France. I want to live in the United States of America, the country that I love.
